COSTA RICA REAL ESTATE AND ANDRES ZAMORA 

Andres Zamora, Certified International Specialist (CIPS). Born in Costa Rica and member of the National Association of Realtors, (NAR - USA) and the Costa Rica Association of Brokers (CCCBRCR). Has a background in accounting, management and laws. For more than twenty years before going into Real Estate he has been in important positions in banking, tourism, investment consulting, general enterprises advisoring and development companies, etc.  Actually is the representative at the Central Valley of REMAX OCEAN SURF REALTY...

Middle 90 s,  living at the Puntarenas - Guanacaste Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, Andres was in charge of some projects in the area. He was related to the Barcelo Group  www.barcelo.com real estate plans at that time who owns a large tract of property  and one of the first all inclusive resort in Costa Rica at the Tambor Beach Area www.barcelotamborbeach.com and what became their first successful real estate project, www.delfines.com and to an italian group that developed a tourist residential development with villas and  400 ocean view homesites.. In the first stage they built 15 luxury next to the Hotel Tango Mar http://www.tangomar.com/ called Villas del Mar .

At the RE/MAX Convention held in Orlando, Florida in 1999, a group of realtors and agents analyzed the concept of Real Estate Maximums. The concept, a determined team, and the best referral system boosted the decision to open new RE/MAX® offices in Costa Rica.

Andrés Zamora was its first manager, web concept strategy consultant as well as the broker-associate in the office named REMAX LIDER COSTA RICA S.A.

   

 The prestigious magazine "Actualidad Económica" based this Costa Rican Real Estate Article in the presence of REMAX Costa Rica according to Andres Zamora information.

In 2.001 presented for first time COSTA RICA in San Diego, California, USA REMAX Convention. Coordination, concept, set up and sucessful presentation were Costa Rica was introduced for the first time to hundreds of agents. Properties in the city, at the beach, and the benefits of Costa Rica itself were successfully promoted

 

Later he participated in a  strategic alliance with Chris Simmons, owner of RE/MAX Ocean Surf Costa Rica at Tamarindo Beach, Guanacaste. Chris, a Canadian CPA resident, has been involved in real estate sales and construction

Again Costa Rica is in the map of Remax worldwide realtors thanks to the full page article included in the REMAX TIMES official newspaper:

In year 2.001, Andrés Zamora joined the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS, (NAR) U.S.A. with the CIPS designation.

During part of that year was in charge of coordination with REMAX Intl. of the marketing of the offices in Costa Rica.:

On the Convention held at Orlando, Fla, USA, Andrés had the opportunity to be the first Costa Rican to be a speaker on a REMAX Convention

Channel 7 Interview


Late July 2004, the most important local News Program Telenoticias Canal 7 interviewed for 2 hours Andres Zamora for the special one week report regarding Real Estate in Costa Rica.

Reporter Lilliana Carranza baptized the special "Gold meters" and also Emilia Piza, President of the Costa Rica Brokers Association, the President of the Construction Chamber, Laura Zuñiga, manager of Mabinsa, one of the largest real estate management companies, Daniel Langlois, real estate agent and author of digital Escazu News and developers like Joshua Ten Brink from Riverside Condos as well as Mike and Chris Simmons from Remax at the beaches in Guanacaste were important part of the report considered the first in its class.
