This championship George Fazio designed course was founded in 1974. The land was
once a coffee plantation. It is heavily wooded with narrow fairways and only a
few fairway bunkers. The Bermuda grass greens are fairly large, fast and
well-bunkered. One of the best in the country. It is located very close to the
main highway that communicates the International Airport and Downtown. ( Almost
nothing of real estate is available next to the golf course but a big community
in a well known neighborhood has been developed close to the Hotel Cariari which
Club is the Cariari Country Club). I am clear of the big demand of condos and
nice properties around. I think that I sold the last condo next door last
month.

By Edward F. Pazdur, Publisher
Arnold Palmer reveals what went through his mind as he strode up to the 18th green at his 50th Masters and his future plans.
Arnie talks about the anxiety of cleaning out his clubhouse locker, saying goodbye to friends and hosting a private cocktail-dinner party.
Guanacaste, Costa Rica: Arnold Palmer arrived in Costa Rica this Sunday morning in his private jet and was immediately whisked from the airport to his Four Seasons Resort suite at Peninsula Papagayo, an exotic resort destination in the tropics of Costa Rica’s north Pacific coastline.
“Mr. Palmer’s mission was to headline a VIP Grand Opening of the swanky Four Seasons Hotel and to play the inaugural round at our first golf course, designed by him, at Peninsula Papagayo,” said Alan Kelso, CEO of Peninsula Papagayo. Kelso’s plan includes three golf courses, seven hotels, a marina, villas and private estate homes.
Sales and Marketing Director Jim Preskitt is now offering 20 villas, averaging 2,800 square feet with magnificent views. They are priced from $1.5 million to $3 million...
